About us

Friends of the Whitefish Bay Public Library is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization. Since 1982, Friends has been re-selling used books to raise funds for special programming at our local public library in Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin, USA. We are an all volunteer run organization providing financial and volunteer resources to the library and its patrons. Some things we fund include: summer reading programs, a "take and tinker" collection, annual writing and photo contests, new furniture, special book collections, TV monitors, self-checkout stations, museum and state park passes, as well as scholarships for graduating high school seniors. Thank you for supporting our organization and our community!
