    If someone spends money on an item, let alone over a $1000, it should be packed very well. I've sold and bought on eBay for years and I've worked in packing and shipping. I know packages get tossed around. So when I got it and the guitar box inside was not taped shut and almost all the way open, and had maybe half the packing material it should have had pooled at the bottom, I wasn't happy. Hope it didn't get set upside down, all the weight would be on the headstock with no protection.

    I wanted to clarify that by "almost all the way open" I meant almost as much as it could open within the box. I don't like leaving negative feedback but it's just frustrating. I've been saving to buy this guitar for 3 years and it was sent with very little padding, essentially bouncing around with nothing to protect the neck or headstock should it take an impact or be set upside down.

    When the guitar left the box was taped. The adhesive possible came apart possibly but I packed it myself and remember it being sealed. It was also fully insured. I also have packed my ebay shipments for years and our feedback is excellent and have never gotten negative feedback on shipping.
