I made an offer for a better price and received it, and the Seller wrote "it is white" in color. I asked for photos and received a picture of the corner of the plate. When I got the plate it is certainly strong and 5/16" thick, the white paint looks better than what I could paint, but has "burs" in the aluminum that should have been de-burred prior to painting. Once installed it will be fine and likely never seen again.
