  The item was new and in original packaging, exactly as described. I appears the item was shipped promptly but it took 9 days to get from Chicago to the Boston area. Shipping was free, but I think I'd rather have paid for USPS 1st class or Ground Advantage and gotten the manual a few days earlier. The manual was packaged extremely well - no chance of damage. The price for this new manual was about the same as others were asking for USED manuals - therefore a good deal.
