However, for some reason, the lid is warped and forcing it to come apart from the wood on the sides of the lid. it might have been stepped on in shipping or ? Seller was very sorry and immediately offered a refund for the item, which I very much appreciated. Thank you

    There was delayed shipping (USPS) but I'd consider that beyond the seller's control. Package arrived well wrapped. I was aware that there was a crack on the back of the statue per the description. However, I think that's a slightly inaccurate description. In looking at the statue in person, I think Mary's head had broken off and was repaired at some point in its existence.(a good repair& not readily noticeable.) It as appropriately priced for the condition. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase
