If it were not, it wouldn't have survived the shipping! Wow, if that box could only talk... There was NO damage to the seat base at all, maybe a few scares or wondering what was going on, if it could think. I have not tested it yet, but due to correspondence with the seller I think I'm safe. I'll test it soon, but expect no issues of there were an issue. Great Folks and know volumes!
