Each cutting board is shaped by hand for an elegant shape and balance. Careful sanding and buffing produce a smooth surface that is silky to the touch. The cutting boards are designed to provide many years of use in the kitchen. Many owners hesitate to cut on the cutting boards surface because of the cutting boards beautiful appearance. The cutting boards are finished with a food safe finish consisting of heat treated walnut oil/wax blend. The beauty of the cutting boards can easily be restored with gentle sanding and a new coat of finish Like all wooden kitchen utensils, the cutting/serving boards should be washed with warm soapy water after use and dried immediately.
