2021 Release Dates for Yeezy Foam Runners

Yeezy Foam Runners are lightweight shoes created as a collaboration between adidas and the Yeezy brand. They are created from a combination material of algae that has been harvested, plus proprietary adidas EVA foam. In 2021, six colorways were released, and three of these releases were restocked that year. These can be found on eBay.

About Foam Runner Construction and Features

Foam runners previewed on the marketplace under the Yeezy brand on June 26, 2020. These shoes are available in sizes that include preschooler's, kid's, men's, and women's. They have been compared to the Croc in terms of construction and function. Yeezys are made from a single piece of lightweight, molded foam. These shoes also feature strategically placed oval ventilation holes and ridged soles. At the time of the 2021 releases, no updates had been made to the structure of the base shoe.

MXT Moon Grey: March 26 and December 11

The first 2021 Foam Runner colorway released in 2021 was the MXT Moon Grey. The shoe had a debut date of March 26. This colorway features a marbled blend of the signature color, Moon Grey, combined with the company's Sand tone. Both colors can be seen speckling the sides and sole of the shoe, while the tops of these Foam Runners remain uniformly gray. The shoe was restocked on December 11, 2021.

Sand: March 26 and May 29

The second of two colorways released on March 26 was a tan shade named Sand. This single-color shoe is reminiscent of other neutral tones released by the Yeezy brand. This colorway had a restock in 2021 on May 29.

Mineral Blue: May 22

A deep navy blue appears in marbled patterns on the sides and sole of this mostly black shoe. The Mineral Blue colorway, released on May 22, was similar in pattern to the Moon Grey from a few months earlier but with a darker color palette.

MX Cream Clay: August 2

The August debut of the MX Cream Clay colorway brought a third color into the marbled patterning seen in several Foam Runner versions. In this version, the top of the shoe is a lighter version of the Sand colorway, while the sides and sole transition into gray and brown marbling with cream highlights.

Ochre: September 18 and December 11

This muted, honey-yellow shoe was previewed in April of 2021 and released in mid-September. It was restocked and re-released by the Yeezy brand in December of the same year.

Vermillion: October 29

The brightest of the 2021 Yeezy colorways for this shoe model, the Vermillion shoe hit the marketplace in late October. This was the third and final single-hue shoe for the model and brand in 2021.

MX Sand Grey: December 11

The final Yeezy foam runner release date in 2021 was in mid-December. It debuted on the same day that the Sand and MXT Moon Grey colorways were re-released. While this colorway still has a majority of the neutral colors commonly found in Yeezy shoes of this vintage, hints of pink can also be found in the marbling. The base shade of this shoe is a medium brown, which can be found uniformly on the top and blended into the sides with a light gray and dark brown. Whispers of pink are seen on the toe and sole.
