Nike's Air Jordan 1 Low Has a Classic Style
The Air Jordan 1 Low by Nike is a trendy sneaker. It is available in several colors.

Nike's Air Jordan 1 Low lacing shoe has a classic style. The Jordan brand, a subsidiary of Nike, developed this lifestyle sneaker. The Air Jordan 1 Low lacing shoe is the first low-top signature sneaker Nike made for Michael Jordan. Nike released this sneaker along with the Air Jordan 1 High. The High came in many colorways, such as the metallic colorway, which is also available for the Low on eBay.
Nike has collaborated with several brands and celebrities to release different Air Jordan 1 Low lacing shoes. Wearing a pair of these shoes means putting on one of the most recognizable sneakers in footwear history.
The Air Jordan 1 Low's History
Nike first launched the Air Jordan 1 Low lacing shoe in 1985. That year was significant for Nike and Michael Jordan. Nike debuted the Air Jordan 1 High and Low, and Michael Jordan achieved rookie of the year and was a player in the All-Star game. Right after the Air Jordan 1 High and Low release, the commissioner of the NBA banned them and forced Michael to pay a fine every time he wore them. Nike capitalized on the ban for publicity purposes. Michael Jordan was encouraged to continue wearing the shoes, and Nike took care of the fines. Eventually, Nike marketed their Air Jordan 1 as "The Shoe Banned by the NBA." There have been many retro releases since the 2000s.
The Air Jordan 1 Low's Features
For the original version, the Air Jordan 1 Low's designer, Peter Moore, used a design based on the Nike Dunk. The design had the Nike Swoosh and the Air Jordan Wings logo. More recent releases of the Air Jordan 1 Low lacing shoe differ from the original design. The newer sneakers replace the Nike Air label on the tongue with Jumpman logos and move the Wings logo from the ankle tab to the shoe's lower heel. There were 23 colorways released for the original Air Jordan 1 Low. The retro release colorways include White / Black – Midnight Navy and White / White – Metallic Silver. The Air Jordan 1 Low lacing silhouette, notably, has two sets of laces that match the shoe's color combination.
The Air Jordan 1 Low's Collaborations
Nike has worked with several individuals and companies to develop and launch new Air Jordan 1 Low lacing shoes. Nike collaborated with Travis Scott, a well-known musician, to release 60,000 pairs of a version of the Air Jordan 1 Low called the Air Jordan 1 Low Reverse Mocha in July 2022. Scott and Nike had already released the Air Jordan 1 Low Mocha and chose to reverse the colors of the shoe for this more recent release. The Air Jordan 1 Low 'Air Dior' is a product of a collaboration between Nike and the luxury fashion house Dior. Nike and Dior created the shoe to celebrate the Air Jordan 1 silhouette's 35th anniversary. Dior revealed the shoes during their pre-fall 2020 show in Miami. It was claimed that only 4,700 of these shoes were on sale, making the Dior and Nike sneakers a limited release.
