Sticking to what they know and mixing it with something new, the Jordan brand utilizes circular design principles in creating its Crater lineup. Before the Jordan 1 Low Crater dropped, the Jordan brand released the Air Jordan 1, the Jordan Crater, and Crater slides.

What Makes The Jordan 1 Low Crater Different?

The Jordan 1 Low Crater sneakers are nothing like the original Jordan 1s regarding their material makeup. The Crater lineup is constructed with a canvas body and uses recycled polyester or nylon. On top of that, the sneaker's paneling and overlays come in synthetic materials. The sneaker is thoughtfully crafted from start to finish and includes NikeFoam in its midsole.

Specific Design Details on the Jordan 1 Low Crater Sneakers

At first glance, the Jordan 1 Low Crater sneakers look like any other pair of Jordan 1s with a gray colorway, but when you break this sneaker down, its circular design remasters an OG sneaker. The sneaker dons a Light Smoke Grey/Black/Racer Blue/Multi-Color colorway. More specifically, the sneaker comprises a Dark Grey recycled mesh upper. Synthetic suede makes up the sneaker's overlays in Light Grey. As you look closely at the sneaker, you will notice the colorful threading and material used throughout its canvas. The sneaker also includes a multicolored Swoosh, midsole, and outsole constructed by post-consumer Grind rubber. Looking at the back of the sneaker, you will see the signature Wings logo on the sneaker's heel in black material. Inside the sneaker, a cream-colored lining pairs with a blue insole that features a white Jumpman on the heel. This Jordan 1 Low Crater version includes the same sustainable dress work as the first colorway mentioned above. The sneaker has a recycled twill upper in Light Grey that includes synthetic suede black overlays. The sneaker stands out with its light blue lining and threading details. Just like the other Jordan Crater sneakers, this Jordan 1 Low sits on a Grind rubber speckled white midsole and speckled black outsole.
