The Jordan 1 was designed by Peter Moore and released by Nike in 1985. The Jordan 1 Goretex sneakers have a construction that is very similar to the original Jordan 1. However, these sneakers are designed for all-season wear with a waterproof Gore-Tex lining and durable Durabuck overlays, unlike the upper on the original sneaker. The sneakers also still have the perforated toe as seen on the original Jordan 1 and the Nike Swoosh logo, an exclusive for Jordan silhouettes.
Air Jordan 1 High Element Gore-Tex Light Bone
The Air Jordan 1 High Element Gore-Tex Light Bone, a good example of the line, has a white base with overlays in gray and Light Bone. It includes the words "Gore-Tex" printed on the heel. The Swoosh bisecting the shoe is black and pops against the white side panel. The Wings logo is also black, and instead of a Jumpman, this shoe has Nike Air branding at the top of the tongue, which gives the shoe a second Swoosh. The outsole has sections of light bone on black that are reminiscent of snow patches on blacktops. These sneakers were released on December 16, 2021, and can be viewed on eBay in unisex sizes.
