International shipping FAQs
How do I use eBay international standard delivery?
If you ship to international buyers directly (outside of eBay’s Global Shipping Program), you can select the eBay international standard delivery option as an economical choice to deliver your product. When you select the eBay international standard delivery shipping service in eBay Labels, a USPS domestic label (First Class Package or Priority Mail) will be printed. You can take the package to any USPS drop off location or arrange a regular USPS package pickup. Tracking will be automatically uploaded on eBay, which can be tracked by buyers and sellers.
What do I need to do to start using eBay international standard delivery?
Update your listings to offer eBay international standard delivery in the International Shipping Options section of the listing flow. Remember to enter the exact weight and dimensions of the package you will ship. This service is available for Flat and Calculated shipping. When your item sells, follow these steps:
- Navigate to eBay Labels from My eBay or Seller Hub
- Select eBay international standard delivery from the list of eligible services
- Receive a quote for the service
- Print your label
- Drop off your package at a USPS drop-off point, or schedule a USPS package pick-up
When I print an eBay international standard delivery label, will the address on the label match my buyer’s address?
No. eBay international standard delivery uses USPS’s domestic service to transport packages to eBay’s trusted shipping partners in the US. Our partners screen and forward the packages to international buyers around the world. You and your buyers can track the entire transaction via eBay.com.
My listings are already set up with USPS international shipping options. Can I ship with eBay international standard delivery when I use eBay Labels?
Yes. You can pick the shipping service you want to use on eBay Labels. We encourage you to edit your listings to include eBay international standard delivery as an international shipping option to give buyers the best shipping price and most accurate delivery speed estimate possible.
What’s the difference between eBay international standard delivery and the Global Shipping Program?
eBay international standard delivery is a Delivered Duties Unpaid (DDU) shipping solution—buyers won’t pay duties and tax at checkout on eBay, but may have to pay the carrier for duties and tax upon delivery. The Global Shipping Program (GSP) is a Delivery Duties Paid (DDP) shipping program—buyers pay duties and tax during checkout on eBay via GSP. eBay international standard delivery gives you full control of what you want to charge buyers for shipping (Free, Flat, Calculated) from end to end. With GSP, the buyer always sees the GSP shipping charges, and any costs you set for the domestic shipping leg (Free, Flat, Calculated).

We’ll let you know when your listings are missing item location ZIP codes
Item location ZIP codes play a critical role in search visibility and sales conversion. They’re used in location filters to help buyers understand where inventory is located and make purchase decisions. ZIP codes also provide more accurate estimated delivery dates (EDD) and are used in best match ranking. If your listings are missing item location ZIP codes, you will be notified in the Active Listings tab in Seller Hub to provide missing ZIP codes. If you mistakenly dismiss the notification three times, you can return to the ZIP code page by clicking on the item location ZIP code link in the left navigation on the Active listings page. If you have multiple warehouses and do not have a unified ZIP code, you should ignore the notification. ZIP code changes you make will show in your listings after they refresh every few hours.
