This striker solves the issue of light strikes to Glocks modified with a 3.5 lb. connector. Some ammo manufactured with hard primers yield light strikes. The ZEV stainless has a slightly extended tip and long life.

Bought this and the Zev spring kit. Got light strikes on Winchester white box. Maybe some different ammo with different primers would work, but if it can function with average ammo then it's not worth it for me. I do not recommended this product.

Bought a Zev spring kit & firing pin, turbo maritime cups, titanium nitride safety plunger and a ghost 3.5 pound trigger break. Trigger is noticeably better, but the firing pin alone makes a huge difference in how clean the break is. Worth the $.

So I purchased a competition spring kit for my Glock 22 Gen 4 and I encountered several light primer strikes. I have been looking to purchase a lighter striker, but couldn't really find one worth trusting other than the Zev Skeletonized V4 striker. Took my Glock to the range and it never misfired and functioned as expected. I always have such a great experience with RMT, and that is why I have been a returning customer for the past couple of years!

This is the only striker that I have found that will function reliably in my modified Glock 34. I use CCI primers and without this stiker, I get light primer strikes. With it, I seldom ever get a light primer strike and if I do, it is probably reloading related. I find that these will last about 8,000 to 10,000 rounds before needing to be replaced. I recently had one that only had about 5,500 rounds through it and the tip became deformed, but that does not seem to be the norm with them.
