Cheap Pads are still fun, just not as functional as more expensive units
Be aware that a Google Android is not running Windows, they are running their own software. When the batteries go bad, you have to throw the device away, or find some way of breaking inside and changing the battery. Some friends of mine had problems with battery not lasting after only 6-months, and if you want to view PDF files, Word Documents, Excel Spreadsheets, epub, etc., it can be problematic. Resistive Touch Screen can be problematic, on some, the screen is more sensitive on the edge and less sensitive in the center, and if you hit the screen too hard, to make it work, you might damage the screen, like I did, I cracked it or warped it on the left bottom all the way to the middle. Some of these are priced really low for around $150 or less, and are still pretty good for the price, but not as good as a $500 unit. You can view YouTube, and surf the Net with less functionality compared to a real computer, but still pretty good. My big objection is the ebook reader had difficulty, and it would not work for reading PDF or epub direct out of the box, and downloading apps might not work even though you are led to believe that it is compatible.Read full review
Garbage. A total waste of money.
It failed to recognize any type of SD card. Also would not recognize anything through USB. Battery lasted about 20 minutes. The wifi worked, but none of the apps would update. Processor is extremely slow.

Biggest piece of you know what.
i bought one for my daughter. biggest piece of you know what i have ever bought.Has been fixed three times now and have more money in to fixing it than it than it is worth. Now it wont even turn on wont take a charge. It is about to be taken out to pasture and shot to put it out of (MY) misery .
I wouldn't recommend buying this device.
I did not get what I expected regarding the product description. It was a very slow and poorly responding device and I/O sources didn't appear to work at all. The seller, once contacted, rapidly accepted the device for return and I purchased an iPad2.
