I had watched the program with woman who had survived in the twin towers and her husband work with the doctors using the diet and DVD (Your on a Diet). I was so impressed that I bought the book and DVD. The DVD is well cued and has 3 levels. Even the basic one is challenging and I am working on that one now. It does not require weights and I was skeptical but now see that it can build the muscle you need to become a fat burning machine. The time is only 18 minutes 3 times a week. Tips on eating and other exercise (walking 30 minutes everyday) is included on the inside cover. It is a program that can be worked into anyone's schedule no matter how busy. I would certainly recommend this DVD, along with the book of the same title to anyone seriously wanting to lose weight for whatever reason.Read full review
I decided to buy this DVD because I have another similar to it. It seems to really help to strenghthen my muscles. It works my core but not as intense as yoga. Even my chiropractor wondered what I had done to improve my back muscles. I can tell when I don't do the workout, I need more adjustments. It has saved me paying for the many chiropractor visits that I used to have. I would recommend it to all ages. You may think it is wimpy because there isn't a lot of sweat with the beginning workout but as you advance you are challenged.
Very educational and broken down in lament terms easy for anyone to understand the important facts about one's body,diet and health. This DVD is a must for everyone especially the young who can get a jump start for a healthy life. I so wish this DVD was available when I entered my teens. This is a very concise and easy to follow exercise dvd. It is nicely broken down into multiple diffulculties and fully explains each movement.
