Fantastic for manual focus portraits, not so good for fast moving Autofocus subjects
I was expecting a less sharper lens since it was made by a third party company, but to my surprise the images are so sharp and the bokeh is just so good. I would not recommend this lens for those who are looking to photograph their moving children, animals or fast moving events/weddings. The autofocus is slow and sometimes inaccurate and makes a lot of noise. If you are a manual focus person, this lens is perfect, the image quality and the bokeh is just so good especially for portraits and people. I don't regret it and it is my go-to lens for most occasions.

Worst lens ever bought
I bought a lens thinking it's a good price. Bad judgment. The auto focus does not work. That's the bad thing and the worst is them wanting to give you 5$ because they said it would not be worth sending it back.. Now I'm out 46$. You should buy the real brand because of this reason. Spend 46$ on this lens and have it not work and then spend money on the 50mm canon version. Or just spend the money on the canon which would be the reliable choice and not waste 46$ on a piece of crap. I am an easygoing guy when there is a reasonable solution but ripping you off is ridiculous... This is the first bad review that I have ever written and that should tell you something....

Well worth the money.
It does all the stuff the standard Canon/Nikon/Sony 50 f1.8 does, but for half the price. Well worth the money, highly recommend it if you're on a tight budget. It did seem to have some trouble auto focusing with sunset facing the lens, but that is probably a large part fault of the camera (XSi) as well. Overall, highly recommend.
