The only thing that is bad about having a dog cage made of wood is ...that the dog will bite and scratch the wood. Other than that it was pretty easy to assemble and it is a large cage for big dogs.

I love the antique white color. The ecoflex is the best material I have seen, better than wood or vinyl. Though no dog loves being in a crate, my dogs seem to like it and go in willingly. The extra large is a little taller than the average desk or end table. I have a small apartment. It gave me twice as much desk surface space -- I have it next to my desk -- and more room for the dog.
