I am an average gym goer and these wrist bands do what ...they are designed for providing with a good wrist lock. The metal rings (buckle rings) are coated with a very cheap chrome paint that WILL come off in two weeks of use. This caused the metal rings to rust and sometimes rubbing agains your skin causing (in my case) a mild irritation.
