When I first powered it up the LCD display flick...ered, had poor contrast and was unreadable. I was dreading the possibility of sending it back and researched other DMMs. THEN --- I saw the switch on the back was set to 220V-240V which explained everything. Most electronic equipment auto senses the mains voltage, not this one. After switching to 110V it is now working well. No complaints about the accuracy or types of measurements. Instructions could be more understandable. Build quality is OK, not great. Buzzer sounds too often and is irritating. Other people have wrapped it in tape to make it quieter.

For the price it is reasonable. Some of the buttons... don't work but everything that I need works and it is not worth the trouble of getting it fixed. In the 200 mv scale it has a resolution down to 1 uv which is the reason it was purchased. It does drift up to 100 uv but after a few hours seems to stabilize to within about 5 uv. There is a relative function which allows one to substract out the error.

It is perfect for low a voltage lectronics hobby. It l...ooks good also and matches all other electronics lab equipment. Not out of place at all . It is a lot bigger than expected but it will work nicely.
