You'll need to get better hose clamps. The ones that come with ...it are cheap and the tightening screw will come out when you unscrew it not allowing the release of the hose. I've already replaced 4. The rubber inserts are cheap as well. Made from soft compound rubber. The hose clamps will dig in and cut it up. Already replaced this by buying another Radiator Hose that fit my vehicle & cut down to 3 inches & slide back into the chrome coupler.

The only thing good about this produc...t is the stainless steel flexible tube. Other than that, the product is garbage. I installed the product, the clamps hidden within the chrome plastic end are very difficult to tighten. Initially I had a leak as one of the clamps did not seal properly. No problem, tightened the clamp up and everything was OK. Drove the vehicle about 20 miles, and then suddenly the same clamp started leaking again. Fixed that problem, the next day I drove the vehicle about 5 miles, and suddenly the bottom clamp on the flexible tube end blew apart. I had tightened up everything as tight as I could with a ratchet and 5/16 socket, but it still came apart. I then removed the plastic end pieces, just used the rubber ends, purchased new Tridon stainless steel clamps and double clamped the rubber ends. Today, the upper rubber end blew apart. I have now lost my antifreeze 3 times, and fortunately didn't ruin my motor. Tomorrow I will purchase some 1 1/2 inch straight radiator hose and use that to couple the stainless steel tubing to the radiator and motor. The rubber end pieces appear to have no reinforcing within them, and that is why the rubber blew. If you need some flexible tubing, then you can purchase the product, but throw the remainder away.

Like the idea and looks good. Time will tell but seems lik...e the rubber probably won't last long. Fitement of the rubber is not the greatest.

Before you buy, measure the outlets your going to conne...ct it to. Mine was a tight fit, I just lubed it with some oil. It's pretty flexible. Part seems to be working as described. I'm happy I would buy again.

All rubber sleeves are 1/8th inch under sized, doesn't sound li...ke much but it is enough for extremely poor fitment. I wouldn't recommend this product at all. If demensions were accurate it would be a great deal but I don't trust this on a crawler where the nearest town is normally hours away. Let alone the environmental impact of leaking coolant.
