This was the second album by Keane, and it is just as amazing as their first. This album contains some fabulous tracks and I have only great things to say about it. I have also purchased Keane's other albums as I discover more and more that I like about their music. I have found that while Keane have had some direction changes, their music has gotten better and better, and their current album Stangeland is absolutely fantastic! I highly recommend this album.
Keane's 1st album is one of my favorites. Sentimental, sensitive, and laid back it may be. And I loved that. I especially like the nostalgic overtones of bands from my youth, especially that Ultravox piano sound, and the song-writing and vocal similarities with Travis. Some might have felt it was too samey, and it's possibly true. The new album is definitely not more of the same. Louder, angrier, rockier. Personally, I miss the quieter side of Keane, but I think it is great to see the band has a broad repertoir, and it will certainly make for a better live show. Can't wait for the difficult 3rd album. Under the Iron Sea bodes well for it.
Soy fan de Keane! El CD es bellisimo. Estoy feliz!

This disc keeps growing and growing on me the more I listen to it. I actually bought this disc from listening to the group Steadman on Pandora.com radio. I really enjoyed a few songs they played from this CD and decided to try it. Trust me, if you're looking at these reviews and contemplating buying this CD, just do it! You won't be sorry.
If you love a good melody, this one’s for you! Brit-pop at its finest. This CD has at least 6 top-notch tunes. The others aren’t so bad in their own right. Have had the MP3s for a while and loved them so much I felt as though I should probably grab a hard copy.
