As I get older I realized then I'm not as strong as I used to be. Thinking back to last winter and how difficult it was to start my snowblower, I decided it was time for electric start. The starter installed easily with no modifications. Using the snow blower now will be a pleasure! If you're in the same situation, I would suggest installing one, my motto is work smarter not harder.

The starter came with all of the hardware necessary to mount. It even came with a new plug in cable. It mounted perfectly to my older Trolybilt 8526 snowblower. MAJOR PROBLEM..The gear on the new starter DID NOT mesh with the gear on my older snowblower. I had to remove the gear on the new starter and replace it with the gear from the old one. After changing out the gears and remounting the starter, the snowblower started quickly with the push of the button. Overall, the price and included hardware make it a good value.

I actually used this as a replacement starter for a snow blower that had the starter motor seized. Sears wanted an absurd amount for the replacement starter, this was much less expensive and fit perfectly.

The product was a direct factory replacement of the starter unit that originally came with the snow blower. It arrived in a timely fashion. It was easy to install and an OEM match.

It wasn’t an exact fit. It needed a few minor adjustments. I had to grind down a small part of the engine block to make it fit smartly and widen the holes on the mounting bracket (that’s part of the new starter). It eventually fit and works fine
