Great club for the golfer wanting to beat his buddies.
I was lucky enough to find a set 4-AW DGXP S300 in a golf shop whit winn drytak grips. $290 I got them out the door $250. They are a 9.5 on condition. I have hit a bunch of different irons these are the cats MEOW! Im 40 and a 12 handicap. I hate to admit it i just can't swing a project x 6.0 anymore thats what I had in my last set of Callaway X forged. I bought a set of Nike VR pro cavity. good clubs bad shafts. Bad for me anyway they were R flex. I found these my main concern is who had these, but like those Nikes i bought they were just not for me. Maybe that was the case . MY GAIN i love them i wouldnt take $750 for them give me $1000 I ll think about it. they were in great almost new shape the forged face is great. Im done looking for Irons this is a great club.

Give yourself the gift of fun with the taylormade mp cb!
I thought I'd be playing mizuno blades for the rest of my life. I was wrong. I loved my mp-29's, but they were stolen from my car. I did a little research and decided to move on to the mp-33. this was two years ago. for two years I've been struggling to get the same feel and yardage as the 29's, only to come up short in both departments. I spent several seasons rangering at a course in Brooklyn which was a taylormade dealer. every now and then i'd pick up a tp iron, be it the mb, mc or cb. they felt extremely well made and comfortable. purchasing a new set was out of my economic reach, but I filed taylormade irons in the back of my mind and continued to go on with my golfing life. my exasperation with the mp-33's was getting me both aggravated and depressed. I drive the ball extremely consistently, which exacerbated my already morose emotions. I couldn't get to a gir, and found myself swinging abnormally hard attempting to achieve what I consider decent amateur golf. finally, I had to do something drastic, namely to purchase a set of taylormade tp cb's. I got them for a reasonable price and put them to the test immediately. they performed like a charm. soft, forged irons feel, cavity back forgiveness. these babies are indeed the best of both worlds. i'm going to spend the next years as a taylormade irons guy and i'm not going to be depressed on the golf course again. by the way, the tt dg xp s300 shafts work beautifully with these irons. i'm absolutely bursting with happiness. Great clubs! Would recommend them to a friend.
Great feel off of the face and good forgiveness. I love the stock Dynamic Gold R300 shafts. When you hit the sweet spot, the feel is buttery, the ball comes off hot, and the flight and distance are extremely consistent. I love this club.

Unbelievable forged feel in a cast body makes this club a dream!!
In my opinion, the Taylor Made CB irons offer more forgiveness and better feel (with the forged face) than the R11 irons could ever deliver. I have also looked at Mizuno JPX 800 Pro, Ping i20 and G20, Titleist AP1 and AP2 and for the money...there is no comparison. The only thing that would make this club absolutely perfect is a satin finish. However, the chrome is not bad since the top line is not chromed and distracting. I think TM goofed with these irons in that they were just about perfect and since they just had to come out with an R11 iron, so they quickly discontinued making the CB's and made very....very minor cosmetic changes (actually making the club worse by removing the forged face) and rebadged it as the R11. I mean who would buy the R11 iron if the CB's were still available? Marketing geniuses these guys are! Buy these irons while you still can and enjoy the "feeling of forged with the forgiveness of cast" in a wonderful set of irons. You will understand firsthand just why Taylor Made was in such a hurry to take these off the market!! Read full review

can't say enough good things about these clubs!!!
hit almost every new club on the market at a recent demo day, unfortunately had to hit off the mats due to bad weather. still narrowed my search down to the taylor made cb & titleist ap2. attended another demo day and finally got to hit off the grass. taylor made cb's low center of gravity picked the ball clean every time and the ball shot off the club like a rocket! cb's are perfectly balanced, ap2 felt toe heavy and didn't pick the ball like the cb's. these clubs are by far the best clubs i've ever hit. I hit a dozen or so balls with a six iron like a pro. even the taylor made rep was impressed. I upgraded to these clubs after hitting a set of taylor made burner midsize irons that I absolutely loved, played with them for 15 years, but these clubs are definitely worth the upgrade. forged feel is incredible and still very forgiving. i've also gained about club in distance, which makes for only minor club adjustment. taylor made really did it right with these clubs!
