Recently bought this game for $8 on eBay. I wanted to get a game that I wouldn't have to worry about slowing down my laptop, so I went with an old favorite. This game is the Forza Motorsports of motorcycle games. When you first start out you have the option for riding assists such as invisible training wheels. These assists help with the learning curve and it really gets rewarding as you improve and turn each of them off. Graphics are unparalleled for their time made better by some of the best animations in a video game. In my opinion animation is more important to making a game look real. Because even bad graphics on a good set of motion captured animations looks like reality with a low-res filter on it. Bad animation looks fake no matter how good the graphics are. That said this game is by no means low res. And any time you get bored of the awesome racing action you can just create a big wreck with all the NPC riders. 25 to be exact. A number even the latest and greatest racing sims can't touch. An all of this chaotic wrecking action happens via motion capture animation with the riders tumbling off of the bikes. Anyways I could go on but you should be sold already. Awesome game. If you haven't played it yet and you like any kind of racing, try it.Read full review
EA Sports_Superbike 2001_PC Game_By Milestone(Italy)
..This game was amazing when it came out in late 2000, a follow up to the previous title, Superbike 2000. They had learned alot during the Making of the original, and put some great work into making this a fantastic motorbike sim, Yes sim, because you can tweek the gearing, Engine,Tires to your hearts content!...Plus the feeling of riding was equalled by no other, and it still rates even now(2006) as a very playable bike game,up against Xbox 360 title such as MotoGP, this old game play great!...there's a patch that makes it work fine with Win XP,go to one of the sim motorsport sites such as Blackholemotorsports, so go grab yourself a copy and happy Racing! ;O) analogkid66.
