Wow, what a great improveme...nt from the standard beater blade that comes with Kitchen Aids mixers. Had to check it out just as soon as I got it. Made a cake with chocolate chips to test the claims that it would not smash or break up chips and nuts. Only checked it with chips, I didnt have any nuts to throw in. Works exactly as it stated and does it so much quicker as well. You need to get one of these if you own a Kitchen Aid Mixer. Thanks for such a great product at a decent price.

I have been using a kitchenAid mixer for many years, but have ne...ver had the success that I had with my first use of this Side Swipe. I made a pound cake and the texture of a pound cake can be less than fine, but with this beater I made the best pound cake ever. It does a super job of mixing without having to scrape the bow. I also like the design that allows ingredients to pass through without breaking up chips etc; I am really pleased with this product and I believe you will be too. Thank you

This is excellent! The material touches the sides of the bowl and... the angle of the fins pushes the product down into the bowl. No more scraping the sides of the bowl! The fin design allows nuts and raisins to be mixed it with out crushing them!
