I used the powder, specifically "Nude" colour. I am aware that "talc" and other various chemicals are harsh on the skin so I was looking for something more natural. I have a lot of friends that use Sheer Cover and recommended it for me. I did some research on the sheer cover website and did not want to purchase and entire pack or be in a contract with Guthy-Renker as I had previously been and had a bad experience. I was aware I would be the "light" skin tone, and in the trial pack of Sheer Cover they send you two shades for a light skin tone: Nude and Bisque I bought the smallest sizes of both the Nude and Bisque Sheer Cover mineral powder foundation and tried them for myself. The Bisque colour was a fair bit too dark for me but the Nude colour was a much closer match to my skin. The verdict: The coverage is great - for powder - I continue to use liquid foundation underneath but I do not need as much [I have a lot of spots] it's very fine - so fine in fact that when you put a brush in it to apply it the powder becomes airborne. Best to put the container on a tissue when using it. This is also great because you will only get a thin veil of powder, no clumpy dry bits. You glow - it literally makes your skin have a very slight, natural looking shimmer, it isn't too dry. It is too dark - a little too dark for my skin tone [almost porcelain] but I discovered that the colour difference will only be apparent if you use a lot of the powder. You really don't need much for it to do its job. Despite being a little too dark I still use it to this day. Compared to other powders it makes me look like my skin is healthier than it is. I get a lot of compliments about my skin when wearing this make up! It's worth the money, not too expensive, excellent product and I would recommend it to many many people. I hope that one day Guthy-Renker makes some lighter shades as I'm aware there are people out there with skin a fair amount lighter than mine. Seriously, give it a try. Go to the Sheer Cover website to determine which colours you would get in the trial pack for light, medium and dark skin. Search for those colours on ebay in the 1.5g/0.05oz size.Read full review
I have been using this product for 4 years or so and love it. Not only does it have better ingredients than regular makeup, but it also lasts all day. I love it.

I have been buying Sheer Cover's loose powder foundation for at least three years now and I love it! I have a lot of redness in my T-Zone and this has been the only foundation I have found that cover it up without looking like you have "cakey" foundation on! I don't have to re-apply it as often as I have had to do with some foundations in the past, but I suppose this would be different for everyone because we all have different absorption levels. I can't say enough good things about this foundation. Another nice thing about it is if you are medium skin toned to slightly olive skin toned you can use a variety of the colors and they blend well. I have olive/medium skin tone and I use "Buff" in the winter when I'm more pale. I can use "MEDIUM" or "LATTE" the rest of the time. It's great foundation and I doubt you will be disappointed if you are looking for a light foundation that still covers well. Their concealer is absolutely amazing as well, so I also recommend that.Read full review

I love this light weight product. I'm an older lady with normal wrinkles & this does not settle in the wrinkles at all. It brushes on so light & gives just enough coverage to not look "made up". I also use the Sheer Cover bronzer for a little added color. I fully recommend this.
