I've had the Gear2 for about two weeks and my experience thus far has been excellent. The size is about right, compared to newer, larger watches (including the Gear 3). Battery life has been unexpectedly good...about three days in a pinch. Had some problems initially, before updating firmware, but those problems disappeared after that. Apps aren't great, but I mainly use the watch for notifications and other simple purposes. Will probably explore more apps in the future. Generally, however, a very favorable experience.

First off I did like the look and display of the watch, it was easy to use and heart rate monitor was neat. Now for the bad, who wants a smartwatch you can't take phone calls with... silly. The fitness tracker and my music would continually freeze up while running with my bluetooth headphones. The battery life was decent but I'd prefer to have the display on all time without draining the battery. Overall it was just lacking to much and not enough apps to go with it.

I like the watch as an samsung phone user. Fits on my wrist very well. No complaints about the piece. My compliant is about the strap, the straps material is not a good quality, the watch band broke near the attachment. The silicone/rubber is not very durable. Called Samsung support and they said that the band is not included in the warranty. Other than that I really like the watch.

I spent a lot of time looking over the different types of smart watches in the market. Although I couldn't justify the price of brand new model, this gave me the taste of the equipment I needed. The rotating bezel was an innovation of its time and still holds weight in the current market (see the Gear S3). It's a great option to have and helps in navigation. The option to switch out bands is great too, although I hoped for more options in leather and metal links. Sometimes you need to keep it classy when you aren't in sport mode. Otherwise great product in need of minor tweaks (battery could be a bit better).

The gear S2 looks like a regular sports watch, which is a plus to me. It is a lot less bulkey than other offerings. The disply is good and battery will easily last all day with the diplay set to stay on. I would not purchase a watch that does not tell the time all the time. For me I wanted heart rate monitioring, always on display, text and phone call notifcatios, in a slim package. This delivers on that. I gave it 4 stars becaus ething can alway improve. I would like to see it be water proof as opposed to water resitant and it could be a bit slimmer and lighter.
