We Sold Our Souls For R-N-R was my first Sabbath CD, and I thought nothing could be better. Then I was at a party, and I heard this really heavy riff coming from the stereo, and I was blown away. I found out it was Sabbath and couldn't believe it wasn't on Sold Our Souls. The song was Symptom of the Universe, which immediately became my favorite Sabbath tune. I listened to the whole disc then, and found another gem in Hole in the Sky. You cannot find anything heavier by any band than Symptom and Hole in the Sky. Sabbath was at the top of their game on those two songs, which aren't as recognizable as say Paranoid or War Pigs, but they're every bit as good and then some. Just listen to the opening riff of Symptom (make sure it's cranked), and you'll know what I mean.
Just! Listen up!!!!!

every song hits hard and they don't see a lot of radio play??? by far my favorite Black Sabbath album!!!!! this is some of Ozzy Ozbourne's best work singing ever, A MUST OWN FOR A TRUE METALHEAD!!!!!!!!!
This is an excellent cd, but is very inderrated from this group. The best songs on it are "Hole In The Sky", "Symtom Of The Universe", and "Thrill Of It All". "Thrill Of It All" sounds like the Group Badlands, from their cd titled just Badlands with Jake E. Lee and Eric Singer in it. If you want an excellent Sabbath cd collection, then you need this to help complete it.
