Where I live you walk on packed snow and a lot of ice for months. I purchased these hoping they would work well and I'm very, very pleased. The picks are not too pointy and yet they poke into the ice and grip much better than the ones that look like springs. They are built well, very sturdy and fit really well on my snow boots. I'll also feel fine using them on my hiking boots. My last pair were different and nowhere near as sturdy, so I am thrilled with these and the price is right. I also received them very quickly.

purchased these ice cleats for Christmas for elderly mother to keep her from falling on the ice. Literally the first time she used them in the cold Maine winter, the orange rubber stretchable top broke on one side and the other side would not hold its shape and fell off her boot. I have several pair of Microspikes that I have used down to -20 with no issues with the stretchy tops. These are not those! Very unhappy and looking for a different product.

Had a pair of these last winter and they were awesome for packed snow and ice. i would recommend these over other types of ice cleats. This was not a bad price either.

Good value if quality will be adequate. For my us #9 boots, size perfect. Used one time on snowy/rocky terrain, including class 3. Perfect.

Looks good so far, haven't had a chance to use them yet, but at a third of the price of the name brand ones they look good.
