The Predator II model is/was a great take from the standard WayFarer model of the early 40's but in a modern style. I find the optics are very good and especially for the value. The fit of a pair of sunglasses is crucial to the overall experience. Check the size first before buying. I hope RayBan continues to make this model but I believe new ones sold today are new-old-stock (NOS). I will buy yet another as a backup.

I've been married for 45 years and I've been wearing Ray Ban sunglasses for the biggest part of those years. I've tried others, including Maui Jim, Angel eyewear and Oakley and always come back to Ray Ban. They keep their shape, don't stretch out, even if I'm constantly putting them up on my head. I always buy polarized for clarity. This particular pair Predator 2 are a replacement pair for my husband. His were broken when he had them on his head and came up under an 80 pound steel box. He is on his third pair of Predators, the first having been stolen out of our locked truck along with my Maui Jim pair and no less than 60 CDs. He immediately ordered the same pair. Hope this helps

I ordered these because my 15 year old Predator 1's broke and cannot be repaired. I was hoping that these would be very similar, but they are a lot larger. To the point they do not fit in a nice case I had for the old ones, nor do they fit in the glasses compartment of my car. On the plus side, they seem to be good quality and comfortable for the few times I have worn them so far and I like the polarized lenses. I do think I look like the Unibomber when wearing them, but so far that hasn't been a problem. If I had it to do over again, I'm not sure I'd buy this model. But at the same time they are not bad enough for me to go through the process to return them.

Great shades, I had the predator 1's for 10 years before deciding to get new ones after they took quite the beating. I am worried because the temple tip will touch the inside lens of these glasses if you are not careful which would cause numerous scratches over time. Just be mindful of this and you're good to go.

I’m totally stoked on these Predator 2 Ray Bans. I’ve had the Predator 1’s for many years, and was heart broken when they broke haha. These are even better! A little bigger so they fit even better, and the look is awesome. I would recommend these to anyone wanting some classic but still hip sunglasses. And the polarization is an icing on the cake; makes driving and riding my motorcycle much better. 5 stars
