Appears slightly flexible, which should make it less prone to breakage. It doesn't have all the adjustability of the Traxxas original (it has only one upper shock mount hole) but I doubt I would notice the difference in performance. Would probably buy more of these when my other truck breaks.

I just bought another pair. The problem with the 80165 is that you cannot buy the body posts separately,so I bought 2 complete sets to replace just the posts.Sure, you can buy the LONG posts by themselves, not the short ones! I may thread the body posts and put a nut on the front ones: They get chewed up from skidding down my street! RPM will replace these if you break them...BUT.. Don't admit that they broke during cold weather! Dave.

This is a must have for any Emaxx. They are very strong and still have some give and play in them. Some will argue that steel and aluminum parts are better but what happens when you flip or crush? You want something that will flex.
