After receiving the magazine, I noticed one distinct difference between my original and this one. The tab on the bottom is longer than the original and does stick into the finger area. However, the gun is small enough that is fits right between my ring finger and my pinky finger without an issue. The magazine works well with just about 200 rounds using it, and no issues thus far. For me, its a great back up and at less of a price than the original magazine, however the tab being longer is the only reason for the four stars verses five.

I wanted to test this out myself after reading several negative reviews from all different sites. Well, the price is too good to be true. I used this Pro Mag 6 rounds on my brand spanking new Sig P238 and the moment I released the slide, it jammed. I had to tap the slide to set it. First round shot but the second round didn't feed properly. I had to eject the second round and reload it. By the way, loading it sucked. The piece where the round lays on is made of some cheap plastic; feels like it sticks too much or is just a tad too big for the mag itself. Also, on the mag, the 6th round hole wouldn't show any signs of the round. It looked like it was missing one more round even though all 6 rounds were in it. The first time using this mag, I had three improper feeding problems. The second time I used this mag (after using a Kimber Micro mag) it had zero misfires and no feedings problems or jams etc. Third time I had to tap my slide twice. By then I was discouraged. It definitely looks cool, it's affordable compared to the factory Sig Sauer P238 mags and the Kimber Micro 380 mags. But I definitely will NOT be using this Pro Mag for Self/Home defense. I much rather spend a little extra for a 7 round Kimber Micro which I personally prefer over the factory Sig Sauer mags only because the price is super high on those Sigs. You can't go wrong with a Sig Sauer mag and the Kimber Micro mag. I do not recommend using the Pro Mags because of how often I had problems with it. Best price, poor quality. Best used for target practice.Read full review

Thought I would try to save a couple dollars by purchasing these instead of the factory replacements. BIG mistake. If ever there was a time when the statement "you get what you pay for", this is it. It is after purchasing these that I realized what a big difference in quality there is between factory and aftermarket. Remember, you're dealing with firearms. Tolerances of less than 1,000th of an inch make monumental differences. The complaints that I read on line seemed focused on the internal springs of these units are too stiff. While the springs are stiff, the real difference comes to play when inserting these into the handgun. Once inserted, you find yourself fighting with the slide, trying to get the first round to chamber properly. I bough four of these, and each one performed identically. I haven't fired a single round through them for fear of additional improper fittings. After purchasing these, and fighting with them, I purchased four factory original magazines. The difference was night and day. Easy loading and no fighting to chamber a round. I learned my lesson the hard way. I hope this helps you learn yours the easy way.Read full review

Did not work well with my firearm. Got stuck, had to throw it away. Very disapointed.

The magazine functions flawlessly. Good but not as great as the factory issue. Feed lips easy to bend. Thin metal.
