The Polk Audio db351 is a 3.5 inch, 2-way coaxial car speaker that is built to please the auditory senses. Comprising 0.5 inch liquid-cooled composite dome tweeter with a neodymium magnet, the coaxial car speaker generates clear, crisp highs. The car woofer within the Polk Audio db351 is made with polymer composite making the audio system desirably lightweight. The car woofer is surrounded with butyl rubber that enhances the durability and stability of the multipurpose speakers. The marine certified Polk Audio db351 plays a dual role as a coaxial car speaker and also as a perfect accompaniment on your boat.

No Grills
They sound great and are waterproof. I put on my Jet Ski BUT they do not have grills. AND there are no grills that will fit them not even in China. For $5 more I could have bought from Polk Audio directly and got advise on what size to get and a 1 Year Warranty. Be aware no Warranty is available if not purchased from a Polk Audio Dealer found that out.

Not so Powerful
I thought, because of the RMS, I would be getting more sound out of these speakers, but I was little disappointed. It was easy to install (my Nissan 370z), however they are not too powerful. I am using it more as tweeter than anything else.

Great sounding speakers with distracting clarity. By "distracting clarity" I mean when your playing a song your familiar with and have listened to on other speakers you can't help but concentrate on the music & the crisp clear highs and mid.'s you've been missing before! My main reason for wanting to write the review is that these speakers WILL absolutely bolt right in place in a Fox body mustang ('86-'93)! I made no modifications what-so-ever to the mounts. I personally chose to solder the wires directly to the speaker, eliminating the plug. But, these speakers literally drop right into place, and bolt right up in factory locations. The factory plastic grill pops right back on over them with no interferance at all. You will be able to see the little silver tweeter through the slots in the grill, which looks kinda nice IMO. But because the angle of the slots in the grill, anyone looking through the windshield won't be able to tell a thing (no worries about what possible theives may see!). Really great!
durable, water resistant, great Dynamics for its size! Super decibel rating! I created speaker housings out of headlights on my motorcycle and use these speakers exclusively. They worked tremendously well!

The quality sound and power handling is worth getting these.
At first I had bought some $17 Boss 2-way speakers that were rated to handle more power and they were ok sounding, but within a few days they began going out. First the tweeters and then the speaker itself began sounding distorted. Then I saw these Polk Audio. At first I hesitated to spend $50 on such small speakers that were rated to handle less watts, but I know you generally get what you pay for and decided to give it a chance. After installing them in my car I immediately noticed a HUGE different in sound quality. They sound as if they can handle much more power than the previous Boss that I had. They even push quite a bit of bass for such small speakers. It has been a few weeks and still sound absolutely beautiful. Definitely worth the extra money!
