Snapshot of the band
While not up to date (No Phish book stays up to date for long) it is a great look into the band.

Nothing new
There is nothing on this book that can't be found online. I was hopin' for a little more band information -- maybe spurts from Mike's Journal. It's mainly statistics and wookie fan notes, nothin' paramount or note worthy. Probably the best thing about this book, though done poorly, is in song descriptions; gives a slight history on why the band may have covered this song, like HYHU is Fishmans least favorite song, and so the band use to play it to piss him off, and now, as we all know, it's his theme.
A must for any phan!
I bought this book because I lost my original somewhere on the road years ago. For a beginner phan this will introduce you to the members of this spectacular band, and familiarize you with their background. It also describes all their songs released early in their carreer, and where they were first played. It also has write ups on early shows. A MUST HAVE!!
Outstanding!
This book contains amazing information. Well worth the price. Contains much more info than I expected. Highly recommended for devout fans. Would make a very unique gift also.
