First, I got to say this. I am a tube guy whenever it... comes to guitar tone, TUBE = TONE and that is it but got blown away when I tried this amp out. I can't believe that this solid state amp could sound that good from clean to crunch/dirty sounds. You can only tell the different between the tube amp and this solid state amp is on the clean tone but it takes trained ears to tell the different. It's the best solid state amp out there in the market so far to me. Get yourself one if you don't want to deal with the maintenance of the tube amp like swapping tubes or biassing. My tube amp never sound the same since I have all the tubes replaced and biassing by the professional.

Does it have a clean channel? Yep. But if yo...ur buying an Orange Head I assume that you know these heads are know for Hard Rock, Stoner/Desert style , “Old School “Metal” like Sabbath etc.... It is a fuzzy type distorted sounding amp on the dirt channel. Dirt is what this head is built to do. So yeah it does clean. But it was born to bring the fuzzy dirt. So if you want Glassy Chimes and stuff like that you might want a Fender. Think Sabbath, FuManchu, type sounds with just the dirt channel. Put a skuzz box in front of that dirt and you are wandering into the Slow Syrupy Doom forest. Great Amp if your looking to Rock! If you want a Tele Chimey Chicken Pickin sound better leave this one be.

This amp is incredible! Everyone says "this is a great practice amp",... but it's way more than that. I've already used it live(it's great! ran through 2 16hm 4x12's) and it CRUSHED! Used in studio, and it has incredible tone. This is an excellent amp!! I highly recommend it!!

This amp looks cool and is plenty loud. But it does ...not live up to the hype. It sounds pretty good for a solid state amp and works ok in a band context but when playing through it alone I hear fuzzy highs almost like a fuzz pedal or a cheap distortion pedal. Probably not an issue if you play high gain but a medium to low gain setting is ruined by this fuzziness. There is also a slight low end flubbiness that can be partially mitigated by increasing the gain. Not good if you don't play metal. This amp colors the sound of all my fenders and gibsons and no effects pedals can fix this. Most of all this thing sounds NOTHING like a tube amp as others have claimed....not even close. You're paying for the name here. I've heard other SS amps that sound better but cost less. I'm only keeping it because the return shipping isn't worth it.

Great tone and great the for the price! My main amp ...is a Rockerverb but this Crush makes a very comparable back up just in case! I rate it highly.
