So this is a used unit so I'm not sure if this is a design issue or just that this unit either needs some refurb work or cleaned. The entire controller is great it has the larger form factor of the Sega 3 button controllers, has turbo built in, is built by Sega I think has 6 buttons so all is great. Great until the D-PAD which is fine and feels really good but when you try to play a game it is super, super touchy, and hard to find UP.. You can push up but you are most likely going to get up right or up left and only when lucky do you actually get just UP. This sucks and I'm going to mess with it pull it open and clean and look to see if anything can be done but so far this flaw is literally a game killer.

Works great and is a much better controller than the original 3-button Genesis controller. A bit small for adult hands, as the controller used to fit my child hands much better. Turbo and slow motion switch works as well. Great value.

This controller is probably the definitive version imo. As much a classic the original controller is, and is good if you only play games like sonic or f22 interceptor, it's a lot better in comfort among other things. I don't have big hands, so it fits nicely in my palms. The only real issue I have is that the dpad isn't sensitive enough on the left (but im very light touching tbh) and prong end can't be jimmied easily into the ports, so you must be careful.
