I was looking for a putter to replace my ancient Ping Anser. I'm a 5-7 handicapper but have been frustrated recently (several years!!) with a terrible putting game. I just accepted the fact that much of the problem was probably with "me" and not the putter until I tried out an assortment of "new tech" Scotty Cameron, Nike, Ping, Odyssey, and Taylormade putters. To be honest, I wasn't all that impressed......until I pulled out the Odyssey Black Series i-2 Ball. I used to think that the "2 Ball" look was kind of hoakey but it has grown on me and now I see why it is such a consistently highly rated putter. First, it is a very attractive putter with it's nickel plated finish. Second, from the time I let the putter settle into my hands, it felt immediately comfortable to me. It just "feels" right.....solid weighting, incredible balance. I am starting to get what MOI ratings are all about. Third, it makes the process of aiming and imaging the ball path very simple and clear. Fourth, the ball rolls purely and smoothly off of the face. And finally, probably due to "all of the above", I am a much more confident putter. I should also mention that I am not one that rushes out to the golf shop each year to buy everything on Golf Digest's Hot List. My core club inventory consists of a set of 15 year old Tommy Armour 845 Irons, a Titleist 983K Driver, a Cobra Baffler hybrid, and a couple Vokey wedges. I don't buy new clubs often and when I do they must REALLY impress me. This Odyssey Putter will be in my bag for a long time. Read full review

This putter has better feel than any putter I ever have owned. The head is 350 grams, which is a few grams heavier than most putters, and maybe that contributes to the good feel. I do not know, but I took it to FLA and found that it almost swung itself, especially on shorter putts. One thing, I did have to put my foot on the head and bend the shaft a little so that it looked right to my eye, but that was a simple thing and now the putter sets up very well. I highly recommend it.

The perfect upgrade from an older generation 2- Ball
I have been putting with an older generation 2-Ball putter (White Hot) and what a difference 5 years of technology will give you. I am an above average putter to begin with and love the feel and look Odyssey promotes with the 2-Ball Black series. Playing with a softer (Bridgestone Tour B330) ball, this putter meshes beautifully and effortlessly with the ball. It persuades you to a smoother, fuller stroke and gives you the confidence you need on the green to sink the much needed putt. A must buy for those who already enjoy the mallet style 2-Ball. Buy the next generation technology and feel the difference!!!

Odyssey Black 2-Ball Putter
I bought this putter for my boyfriend. For four weeks he kept talking about getting a new putter and looking at different ones. Finally he decided he was going to by one and went with me to the golf shop so I could pick up some things for myself and while I was shopping he did nothing but try out different putters. We were there for an hour and a half. He finally decided after trying about 20 different putters that he loved the Odyssey Black. Now that he has it he keeps telling me how glad he is that I purchased it. HE ABSOLUTELY LOVES IT!!!!

Worth a couple strokes
Used a borrowed set of clubs when I played in Sweden this summer. That included a Odyssey 2-ball putter and there was a difference. Certainly better alignment and good distance control. So upon returning, I went to eBay and was very happy with the purchase. The seller was great. Better than that, the putter continues to give me a couple of strokes off each round.
