I personal...ly had a blast with my Virtual Boy, and went through 2 more of them. Now as a Collectors Item I'm trying to keep the ones I have in super working condition. The games are still relatively inexpensive to find, and are turning into great collectors items. It's a total throwback to fledgling 90's "3D" compared to today's standards, but Nintendo was ahead of the game at the time, no doubt about that.

This thing is a par...t of gaming history. One of Nintendo's biggest flops, the Virtual Boy's monochromatic colors of red and black, the headaches after playing too long and the anti-social nature of the console was what ultimately sunk this once promising system. But it's Nintendo. If you're a fanboy of the brand or a serious game collector at all, you'd be remiss to not own this curious piece of Nintendo's sometimes murky past. Plus, you know you're curious to plunge your face into that black void and see what all the fuss is about :)

The Virtual boy or first known as th...e vr 32. Is mediocre but misunderstood it is very fun. Even if you have to take breaks once in a while and you won't get quite as much bang for your buck as you would with another game console but it is a good collector,s item. It has a small game selection but there are some amazing titles like Wario land and Telero boxer and Mario tennis and panic bomber It is not quite that great a system but it is an amazing one and I recommend it without a doubt.
The Virtual Boy is... one of those great oddities from Nintendo that every gamer should experience. Though it never caught on back in the mid 90's it seems to have a good following now with retro gamers who are still creating new games that can be downloaded to a flash cartridge and played on the Virtual Boy. So even though it had a rough start this systems life is still going strong thanks to all the dedicated fans who are creating new games and experiences for others to enjoy. I'll admit that it was pushed into the market before it's full potential was reached or even realized and if it hadn't been pulled out of development and sacrificed as a shelf filler for the upcoming release of the N64 it probably would have been one of the greatest and most revolutionary gaming systems ever created. As for me, I love my Virtual Boy and would recommend it to anyone who likes retro gaming or just something a little different from time to time.
I love the virtual boy...it is awesome...I wish... I would have had one when I was little...People come over just to play this game system...it was the perfect add for my game room This is a Black and Red 3D system. They are hard to find complete with the stand and the hood. If you have all of the parts it is an awesome system. Don't expect to be able to play it for a long time. The system starts to hurt your eyes after 15 minuts of play. I enjoy a couple of games but there is a limited selection of games. I recomend it, it is a great convo piece in my game room.
