I purchased this because .NET, as usual, has some pretty undocumented features built into their Operating System API. Grasping at straws, I found this book and immediately ordered it. The book itself is quite old, not that it's approach is outdated - there is much to be learned from this book. But if you're trying to use the dnsapi.dll, good luck to you. This book MENTIONS such things, but then turns around and completes a full implementation of functions that avoid the api itself. I mean, I guess you'd expect something written in 2005 to lose its relevance 15 years later, but I expected at least a direction to go. This thing avoided the subject matter completely.
