I bought this phone b/c I didn't want to spend tons of... money for a phone when all I do is text and make phone calls. So this phone is ok if being used for that purpose. However, if you are looking for a do-it-all there are some features that I miss from my Samsung that Motorola does not equip on this phone. The copy paste feature from texts, certain apps are not compatible with this model.. But overall a good buy. Not as light as my previous phone but I also added a phone case. It definitely a larger screen than my other phone. But the weight is comparable with other large androids.

phone screen will start jumping and will change to different mode.... phone also was not cleared , still had pictures and other information including pass words. had 4 different active programs running to track previous owner, and business. i needed a phone quick, but this taught me a lesson about how used phones are used. i will not ever trade in another phone, it will find the hammer

you do not have to activate this phone via verizon or pay ...verizon for smart phone service. the phone comes programmed to use verizon "if you want it". there are several ways to bypass verizon all of which can be found on u-tube.(am talking about activation, not programming) the phone has text keyboard, but why use it when the phone comes with voice to text recognition built in. the dial features has about 100 apps on googleplay. most of which will dial your party by saying their name. also works via Bluetooth if you want it. if you find free movies/shows on the internet you can plug/play on your tv via the hdmi port/cable which you dont need if you have a smart tv via dlna built in. owned this phone for over a year. the only flaw i'm trying to fix is the notification tones (text/email/voicemail etc) which activate while your on the phone, drowning out your conversation
It is a sleek lar...ge screen phone which I love because it makes things easier to read and gives it more space for content. Its display is probably its big design masterpiece in my eyes but i also dig the hardware. The physical buttons on the bottom seem a lot more practical than constantly brushing up the usual touch-sensitive ones on android phones. Its camera and camcorder are also very high quality for a cell phone. Don't be scared of that large screen either, it is still very pocketable because of its thin body. overall, this is a great android phone with a friendly interface, dual core processing speeds (fast), and much more.
Su...mmary: Slow and outdated, for the price its AMAZING, almost unbelievable what you get. The 1Ghz processor is a dual core but a slow one. It can handle most apps but limited multi tasking. If your unfamiliar with smart phones it needs to be restarted and may crash from time to time, normal with androids using complicated apps. The ram is average 512mb, the internal memory is average at 8gb, 5-6gb usable but does have the capability of a 32 gb sd card if your storage crazed (It requires the battery to be removed when changing sd cards or removing them). It has a HDMI micro port which is a nice bonus. There is a 8MP camera that will fit most peoples needs, I think it takes great pictures. The battery... this is my only bone to pick. The Droid X2 came with a 1500-1600MAH battery which is a bit small for a smart phone with such a large screen. At their best the BH5X will provide 6-8 hours of use, however I cannot locate "Best" BH5X, all of them are dated 2011 when the phone was first released, 3-4 years on the shelf they are more like 1200MAH at best, the BH6X offers 1850MAH, but they are also 3-4 years old. Chinese replacements offer 3000MAH but who knows how true that is. I carry 2 BH6X's even though it makes the battery door difficult to close they work so much better than the BH5X or chinese bh6x. I normally swap out at the end of the day and use my extra droid x2 to recharge the dead battery.
