Sounds kind of weak doesn't it ? Do not believe it ! Mother's Mag & Aluminum Polish is a killer for my Ruger Blackhawk .44 Mag. I shined it up in about a 1/2 hour session. I can shave in the surface. I only used Mother's and some old cotton T-shirts torn for polishing. I have other cleaning and shining products, but they will sadly stay in my cleaning box .Thank you Mother's, Captain Jack

I bought this because it said all metals only to find in the small print that I can't use it on my chrome wheels. That's what I bought it for. So I tried using it on some antique knife blades that had a good patina to them. IMO it didn't work as good as a blue paste I'd been using. Didn't try it on aluminum.

Got this to clean some old Foreign coins (not worth anything coin collection wise. Never clean coins that will be collected it destroys their value permanently) to make a bracelet, earring and necklace. Tested it on a dark brown dirty penny for the heck of it. TOOK ZERO EFFORT TO MAKE THAT PENNY MIRROR SHINY AND PERFECT. Barely took a dab to clean all the coins too. Tried it on a dirty quarter and scratched nasty nickel too. Same results. Gorgeous mirror finish with next to zero effort. You do have to buff them but did all 3 by hand in under 5 minutes. This stuff is amazing. No other way to describe it. If I had had any idea how well it would work I would have taken before pictures! As you can see they are so shiny the light kept reflecting back at my camera WITH THE FLASH OFF. In the close up of the penny you can see it is so shiny my phone is reflecting in the surface.Read full review

This stuff is legit! I polished a NiB BCG that dulled a bit from use and wouldn’t shine up that well after cleaning. The NiB bolt was worse. It was almost black! Used Mother’s and no joke, the BCG looks brand new! You’ve gotta try it to believe it. Check out my pics. I forgot to take “before” pics but these were taken after I finished.

Works but you must put in some elbow grease. You can speed things up by using a buffing wheel. There are better products out there and they are priced accordingly. One of those other products I tried (Masters) was easier to work with but not by much. I wish it were "wax on wax off" with these polishers but that's why they ARE polishers! Now I know why I like chrome! Lol.
