Vista graphics can't be beat
The desktop on Vista is the best Microsoft ever made. Some things are awkward so you should have your drivers disks for your various hardwares. Back then I always kept a disk and back up copy of my drivers disks. I bought this software not for reliability because it is not known for security, I bought it because it is very pleasant to look at. The drag and drop function is new on this I think.

Waiting for MS to either go broke or improve their products.
better than basic Vista... but nothing matches XP.... MicroSoft has a closed market and no real competition. Maybe someday, some one will crush the company. They have lost their edge. Almost as though, they never ask the user/ customer except GEEKS what they want. Hello MS... more non GEEKS use your product than GEEKS. Instead of sending all our money which we paid for your products to AFRICA... how about investing it back into an improved operating system experience. Clean, fast, and most business users do not want to move their fingers on a screen when using software for a financial assignment. GET REAL!

NO PROB, backup disk for my work, thanks
I required item as backup. I like Vista Ultimate. It depends on your RAMS, Video board and processor. I build systems therefore my view is a bit different thaN someone who loves touch screen and APPS. This is a system for home office that does the job without the fan fair. I never had a problem but I load my programs one at a time to avoid conflicts and rebooted each time that many people do not do because they are in a rush. I really like Win XP for the games that you can not do in the fancy Win 8.1 system. I dual boot my Vista where I am fine.
