This powder achieves a perfect pale face without looking like stage makeup.
I bought the "Moonlight" shade because Manic Panic's website claims it's the shade used by Marilyn Manson, and having used it, I completely believe that. It's the perfect powder to achieve a pale face without looking like something from a low-budget horror movie. Providing medium coverage, it can be built up to provide more coverage and a paler face without turning chalky. It goes on silky smooth and doesn't budge until washed off. The packaging is beautiful; there's a mirror on the inside of the lid and underneath the powder pan is a section for the sponge, which makes tucking it into a bag for touch-ups so easy.

Best pressed powder I have ever used.
I first purchased Manic Panic pressed powder thanks to a recommendation from a friend and this is by far the best pressed powder I have ever used. Perfect for naturally pale skin. I use it to set my liquid foundation and it allows for long lasting flawless skin. Gives a great matte finish like the famous Dita Von Teese. Since using this product I have had countless comments from friends, colleagues, family and even complete strangers about the complexion of my skin. It doesn't harm my skin either and cause break outs like other products do. I have tried multiple brands of pressed powders such as Mac, Clinique, Chanel and Covergirl and this is the only powder I have used which is both light enough for my pale skin but at the same time doesn't make me look washed out. The only negative thing I can say about this product is the sponge applicator it comes with isn't very useful as I find applying this product with a soft brush is far more effective. The compact is absolutely beautiful. Read full review

Decent product, lovely packaging
The packaging is lovely and one of the reasons I bought this compact. It comes in a coloured mesh gift bag and the large black plastic compact has silver gothic lettering and lilies on the top. It feels sturdy and well-made which is good for those who like to carry their compacts in their purses. The compact is very large because it has two levels with a round sponge underneath the powder pan. The sponge itself is of cheap quality and you are better off replacing it with a sponge of your own. The powder comes in three different shades and the lightest one matches my skintone quite well (however I am terribly pale). After application the colour of the formula stayed true and lasted at least 8 hours without touch-ups. The coverage is light-medium however if applied with a dampened sponge I'm sure you could get heavier coverage. The formula is about as good as drugstore brands so unless you just really want a pretty looking compact I suggest you look up reviews for drugstore brand powders. Read full review

The best ever pale powder - and not just for goths!
This is a product I've been using for the past few winters because - if you can believe it - I really am that pale! I know, I know... It was originally recommended to me by a friend who WISHES she were that pale, and a great cosmetic love affair was born. I use it dry and it goes on smoothly and seamlessly; you don't get that caked-on look you often get with pale powders and foundations. It lasts all day and keeps the shine off pretty well too. A last tip: I'm a blusher, and when I've got this on, no-one can tell! It's like a fake poker face ;-)

This is indeed a high-quality, oil-free pressed powder foundation. The whole reason girls wear make-up is pretty much to gussie ourselves up and make our faces prettier, but if the make-up has a bunch of oil in it and clogs up your pores, then we don't really turn out prettier in the end with our faces covered in zits. Worry no more, ladies. This compact is actually worth the cash. The compact comes ghoulishly decorated, and tied up in a pretty chiffon bag just it's size. This stuff is perfectly designed for the fair-skinned maidens among us. You can expect the pressed face powder to deliver on the promised shade, and depend on it to last you through the midnight hours. The two-level compact is perfect, keeping your applicator sponge or puff clean and protected from what lurks in our purses. For me personally, the search has come to an end for a powder that i don't have to worry about causing gross zits. Acne ends after the teenage years, ladies, let's keep it that way. Read full review
