I loved this book. I i...nitially brought it because it had been sometime since I did any metal work and I really just wanted a basic refresher. I would consider myself an advanced metal worker, but just going back to the basics in this book was a wonderful reminder of how much I love doing this stuff. I had not done cold joining work in about 3-4 years so was a tad rusty. This book really brought it all back to me. I do think that some of the techniques may prove a little challenging for any beginner. The sawing and piercing of metal being the biggest example of this. But as with any new thing we attempt, practice and a lot of patience is the key. The book is laid out pretty well, starting with all the basic tools you will need and then going on to some projects with step by step instructions and plenty of large photos and clear instructions. Some of the projects however, I feel might be a tad ambitious for the beginner and even someone with a little experience. Overall, I think this book is very well written and it could be a huge inspiration to metal workers of any level
