I saw this book at a friends' house and just had to buy it because my husband and I love to take little road trips. I had no idea how many scenic routes are in this country. I would have never found this same information anywhere else. Only locals would be able to tell you where to find these trips and who would know where to start? This book is beautifully laid out with many photos and an easy-to-use map system. There is a scenic trip in every state of the United States, according to this book. I highly recommend the book for anyone who wishes to really see the beauty of our country at car level.
