Nexus Continues to Impress
I have been a big fan of the Nexus line since Nexus 4, and in my opinion the brand continues to deliver. The Nexus 5X is great for anyone that wants stock android, direct updates from Google, and a sub 6" phone. There build quality is lower than the 6P, but so is the price. And while it is an all plastic body, the phone feels much nicer in my hand than I expected. If you want a more premium phone, spring for the 6P. But the 5X is more in line with my needs for reliable daily driver that fits in my front pocket. I really love this phone after getting my hands on it, and woudl reconnect it to anyone on the fence.

WORST PHONE EVER!
Worst phone I have ever owned. First, there are too many extra steps to access menu items. Anyone who doesn't know this hasn't owned another type. From the beginning the call signal and quality was AWFUL! Almost every call that I made dropped and I had to make calls 3 and 4 times just to get through the first time. Finally, the screen had a message saying "Firm Ware" update, complete with USB in your computer. After 3 attempts, each of which failed, I gave up and decided to return the phone. Additionally, removing the back cover to access battery is EXTREMELY difficult and I had a fear of breaking it. The phone is still on and overheating. I have only owned it only 2 weeks.

Excellent First Android
I am a long time iOS user and finally got am trying Android. I was heavily into jailbreaking on iOS, this made my switch easy as I found I had been installing tweaks that were native in Android. I love the device and the OS. A lot of reviews from tech sites said it felt cheap, but I think it looks alright, especially for the price I paid. One caveat is where the glass screen meets the plastic bezel. It is wide enough that things like dust and the random fuzzies can get stuck in there, so I see it as a slight design flaw. Overall, the Nexus 5X has been a wonderful introduction to Android.

Easy to use with a nice display
I bought this (for X-mas) for my son who is autistic as a small media player. I have downloaded a dozen or more videos that he can watch and since it has WiFi he can go to Youtube as well. Just wish the battery would last a little longer. It only went for about half a day before needing a charge. Other than that it seems to work well for him.

Most Decently Priced Nexus Phone
I must admit that I'm a Google person hence naturally inclined to their products. I have grown from Nexus 4 to Nexus 5 to Nexus 5X and haven't regretted those upgrades. This phone, per my understanding, stands out in its being better competitively priced: for the same hardware one would pay a lot more for other brands. Writing the detailed specs here would be a repetition but suffice to say that everything works as advertised. It got an automatic OTA seamless upgrade to Android 7 and I'm totally satisfied with its performance. The battery fast-charge bring it up to 75% (from zero) using its OEM charger in 30 mins: thereafter the charge is slower (as expected) yet completes to a 100% in another few minutes. In brief, a very good product that I would strongly recommend.
