These are still great smartphones even after 4 years! Beautiful 1080 display, 32 gigs of internal storage and 2 gigs of ram. Fast processor makes gaming and browsing a great experience! Camera is average and speaker could be better but still a really nice phone! Phone has 5.5 inch display which might be a little big for some but bezels are small so will fit nicely in most hands. Cool notification light around home button with lots of color choices! If you can find one new or refurbished, it's a super buy!!

After having this phone for 3 weeks now, I am fairly certain that I'm going to switch back to member of Samsung's seemingly more compitent Galaxy family. After a good deal of research via "Vs." reviews and YouTube videos & benchmark races, I decided to try something new to me and more importantly; within my budget. The Optimus G Pro seemed to be extremely close statistically to the Galaxy s4. An s4 would've been a welcome choice for me but with my budget, I'd have to contend with a broken screen or dodgey charge port or something. Since I wasn't up for home-repair, I thought I might stray from my "cell phone comfort zone" and go with something new to me that seemed up to par with a Galaxy s4. I didn't mind the larger 5.5in. display (my last phone was a Note 3), but rather preferred it. After spending some time with the OGP, I've realized that there are several things that I miss about the Galaxy. The G4's sensory capabilities, ability to customize fonts with 3rd party apps without rooting, window splitting, and ability to take a photo mid-text/email and attach it to said text/email are just a few examples of features I miss. The LG is definitely a good buy considering the 13mp camera, 32gb of internal storage, removable battery (a 2nd battery is a must with this phone due to the extremely short battery life) & OS(upgraded & up-to-date with Android 4.4.2). It definitely does all the stuff it's supposed to do smoothly & quickly. And for what I paid for it, used but in excellent shape, it was a great deal for what I got. It's just that I still want more.... And I know where to get ît. If I'd never had a Galaxy I'd probably be quite happy with this phone. But I have, and the OGP just isn't quite up to par. So I plan on searching for the right deal and switching back soon.Read full review

I am VERY pleased that I've switched to Android from BB....don't think I'll go back! The e980 is great and easy to use and I love the way I can swipe my fingers over the screen and everything is literally at my finger tips! I searched for a few months for an Android that would uphold my expectations...Samsung....Windows phone....Huawei even :/ but....when I came across the LG Optimus G Pro e980, I was in love! The design is simple yet stands up to its "phablet" name, lol! I enjoy that bigger screen for games etc....the camera is off-the-hook awesome! I have no regrets with my purchase of this LG phablet and now my fiance wants to upgrade from his S3 to one like mine! ♫Mine's bigger than yours♫ My only concern is the battery that I got with it. It barely holds a proper charge and goes down to 50% without me doing much during the work day. I think the battery itself may be faulty so I ordered another battery, but this does not phase my review of the LG Optimus G Pro e980 Phablet :DRead full review
The LG phones in general are always awesome. They last forever. I said that to say this, Unlocked LG phones can sometimes be a pain to switch to other carriers but do not fear it is possible to do. The LG Optimus G Pro so far is a really cool phone. The screen is big and super clear it is user friendly and the battery easily last all day under moderate to heavy use. The only other con to this phone is Otter Box or Life Proof doesn't make a case for it that i have found......but not a deal breaker. For the money this phone is way better than the Samsung S3 or S4.
I enjoy this phone as far as quick reponse and charge time as well. I had the exact phone before this one. I was hoping the screen was a little larger. But i was hoping for an upgrade. It is a great phone. Im quite comfortable with it and would suggest any low ro mediym scale smartphone users.
