Been carrying this knife for 9+ years. It just works!!...for... everything-everyday. I got really expensive folders...brand name fixed blades in every size & shape. Those are all good to have, but I carry my TDI ALL the time. If ya can spare 38 bucks- ya can’t go wrong with this little guy. It’s a square deal all around. Grey one in pic is almost 10 yrs old. Finish has held up...no rust...easy as pie to sharpen/ touch up- sheath has been retightened over the years but is just as good as when purchased. Many ways to conceal & even more ways to carry this knife. The black one is newer..it’s a plain edge...just bought the coyote brown one for my wife. The combo edge is chisel ground so I just use a handheld pocket stone and with 5-10 quick swipes when it feels a little dull and then strop it a few times on the grind side and it’s absolutely back to shaving sharp. Most the time, I just strop it to maintain edge with medium polish...that’s it...just a really good all round knife.

I’ve been looking to get one of these for a while and now ...that I have gotten one, I am amazed with it. The TDI is a great design and is probably the best fixed blade for its price range. The sheath it comes with has a clip to clip on to a belt or pocket. The blade itself is made of a great material, not sure what kind of steel but it’s really good. The coating on it will ware off after quite a bit of use but that’s almost every knife with this coating on it. Overall I’d recommend this knife to anyone who wants a great fixed blade for under $50.

This is a well made knife, very sturdy, very sharp right out... of the box. and the sheath is well made too. It is easily concealable yet the blade length is sufficient to inflict major damage. As stated it is designed to be worn on the opposite side of your gun. Took me a bit to figure out that that meant you have to draw it with your left hand, but with just a little practice that is easy enough. At first I was trying to wear it in a cross draw type manner and draw with right hand but only way to that is to wear in IWB and was not too comfortable. And when you think about it if you are trying to retain a good grip on your gun to keep someone from taking it you will be using your right hand to do that.
