Great price for an easy upgrade
I've upgraded my old Toshiba A665-S5170 i3 processor with this one in about 45 minutes. One thing I was little surprised with is that despite the picture showing very nice and clean processor, in reality it came in full of old silver thermal paste all over the processor and the GPU. So, the picture in the listing is not the actual processor you are getting. Other then that, works great and for around $50 you can definitely revive your old laptop with easy.

First Gen Upgrade
I am an IT in Healthcare, but on the side i repair, program, build pc's. This cpu was for an older Dell Inspiron, I decided to see what I could do to it to speed it up a bit. Fyi the i3 in it was a bottleneck along with the hdd. Put in the i7 and a ssd and it is now as fast or faster than "most" new laptops. Do your homework before making these kind of upgrades though.
