I have used a pressure c...ooker for the past 30 years and always have one. This is the first 8 quart one I have it. I love it as it works flawlessly, the preprogramed cook buttons so far have been perfect. The cooker seals quickly by itself as opposed to me having to help the weight get in the right position to cook without spouting excess steam. I would just make one change, and that is that I have to unplug it to turn it off to stop it from staying on "warm." from the wall. My other pressure cookers had a Off button that took care of that without unplugging. I have a lot of appliances on my counter so it is hard to reach back and unplug from the wall and then hard to plug in when I want to use it.

Value priced and efficient. It took a few attempt...s to understand how the touchpad worked to set the cooking and delay, but it was worth the effort. This machine is a beast. It's very heavy and robust, therefore safe. It's very easy to use. I like the size as I max it out every time. You'd pay much more for an Instapot while this delivers the same results. It worked great for 6 weeks and then fails to pressurize. The delay mechanism also malfunctions with it trying to cook before the delay is complete. You can't depend on this to cook anything.

I've never had a Pressure Cooker. I d...o a lot of Meal Prep as a Personal Trainer and Competitive Body Builder. My first experience of cooking with this pressure cooker, was awesome! Made up my own seasoning mixes and my meat and potatoes cook fast and fall apart in 25minutes! I'm loving this way of cooking! Glad I found an 8quart for $35. I cook large amounts at one time.

I received my cooker a day earlier than expected and I ...opened it up like a little kid at Christmas. The first thing I made was beef stew. I wanted to start simple. I pushed the soup/stew button and I believe it said 35 minutes. The stew was extra big because I had family over so I added 10 minutes. Not necessary! The potatoes cooked down a bit because I added time), but the meat was disolve-in-your-mouth tender. Next I made red curry in the pot. I set it aside, let the pot cool, cleaned and dried it then made rice. Everything was perfect. I love to cook so right now I'm just having fun with it to see if the settings are accurate. So far so good. Going to make a chicken and wild rice casserole tomorrow. Will actually use the timer. Didn't even think of photos but now that I'm writing the review it says add photos. Sorry. Mine is an 8 quart( thought it was 6) and it was an impulse buy. It was $39.99 with a $1.20 coupon lol. I bought a 2 yr warrantee for $2.50. What a fantastic deal! Winter is coming(no more Jon Snow, sigh...) so I'll cook the heck out of soups and stews. I love it!
